I'm Anastasia, a founder of Slice of Fashion
Once upon a time, like many others, I struggled to find clothes that suited me or knew what to buy in stores. Every time I looked in the mirror, it felt like I was wearing clothes meant for my younger sister. Everything seemed to be my size, but it looked too small on me. While my friends effortlessly found clothes and spent less money, I struggled. Even with the help of store consultants, expensive clothes still didn't feel right. I didn't like my tall height, long arms, or small size... I felt unconfident and unattractive.
During and after university, I experimented with different styles. With a Master's Degree in Finance and a job, I had more financial freedom to explore my unique style. Yes, I felt confident at work, but absolutely not confident with my friends and during dating. I still couldn't understand why some clothes made me look plain and unhealthy while my friend, with a similar body type and hair, looked stunning.
In 2017, a new phase of life began with maternity leave, bringing a wave of dissatisfaction with my body and appearance. During that time, I learned about body types and color theories online and soon invested in a 'Personal Stylist' course. Finally, the puzzle pieces fell into place! Within a half year, I began to see 'my clothes,' felt more confident, and could secure a better full-time job. I continued to invest my time and money in learning styling techniques. I felt like I had discovered a secret! I was very excited to learn more!
In 2019, I founded Slice of Fashion, an image consulting agency guiding women through the beautiful world of clothing. Now, as a full-time Certified Image Consultant Personal Stylist and a proud member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), my mission is to lead women to themselves, helping them understand their beauty and teaching them how to not only feel confident but also achieve their goals by expressing their personality through their appearance.
